Education -- Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)
Earn a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in the heart of Central Oregon at the OSU-Cascades campus. Our program provides graduates with an Oregon Initial I Teaching License with authorizations in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. This is a full-time, 14-month program (with the next cohort beginning June 2009 and ending July 2010) resulting in licensure with elementary and early childhood authorizations. The OSU-Cascades MAT is nationally accredited by NCATE (National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education).

Schedule of Courses for 2008-2009 Academic Year Schedule includes prerequisites and coursework for summer 2008 through summer 2009 for the current cohort.
Applications for the 2009-2010 cohort are now being accepted.
The application deadline is December 1, 2008.
