It is recommended that the following classes are taken prior to the start of the program:

TCE 411: Educational Psychology (3 credits) Students may substitute COCC ED 253 if taken previously

TCE 416: Foundations of Education (2 credits) Students may substitute COCC ED 216 if taken previously

TCE 418: Civil Rights in Education (2 credits) Students may substitute any of the TSPC workshops - see http://www.tspc.state.or.us/workshops.asp - for TCE 418

TCE 419: Multicultural Issues in Education (2 credits); or TCE 522: Racial and Cultural Harmony in the K-12 Classroom (online, 3 credits) Students may substitute COCC ED 219 if taken previously

In the fall term 2007, we will be offering TCE 418 and TCE 419. In the winter term 2008, we will be offering TCE 411 and 416. All of the prerequisite courses will be offered in the spring term 2008.

Students must receive a "B" grade or higher in each class.
