Ron Reuter is a faculty member of the Forest Resources Department and teaches courses for OSU-Cascades and OSU Ecampus. Ron arrived in Central Oregon in January of 2003 from a lecture position at Humboldt State University in Northern California. He holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science/Water Resources from the University of Minnesota, an M.S. in Soil Science from the University of Idaho and a B.S. in Environmental Resource Management from Penn State University. He has worked as a Landscape Ecologist for the US EPA in NC and Stillwater Sciences in Arcata, CA. 

Currently, Ron is engaged in research in the areas of effective distance education technology and ecosystem processes in Oregon's high desert.

Ron is currently the Student Advisor for the Natural Resources program.
