Master of Arts in Teaching - Early Childhood/Elementary

Few professions have the potential to impact lives like teaching. The OSU-Cascades Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) - Early Childhood/Elementary program provides graduates with a master's degree and an Oregon Initial I Teaching License with authorizations to teach in the early childhood (age 3–grade 4) and elementary (grades 3–8) classrooms. The graduate teaching program at OSU-Cascades is nationally accredited by NCATE, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
The cohort-based program begins each June, with options to earn the Master of Arts in Teaching in an intensive five term or extended nine term format.
Graduate teaching program applications are due at the end of November each year for the following year's cohort. Please click on the icons below for detailed information about admission requirements and the applications process.
