Master of Arts in Teaching - Middle/High School

The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree program - for authorization to teach in middle and high schools - provides graduates with an Oregon Initial I Teaching License and an endorsement to teach language arts, social studies, math or science in grades 5-12. OSU-Cascades graduate teaching program is nationally accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, the standard of excellence in teacher preparation.
The cohort-based program begins each June, with options to earn the Master of Arts in Teaching in an intensive five terms, or an extended nine term format.
