Performances

Participants will have the opportunity to listen to segments of Zinn's "A People's History of the United States of America" and "Voices From a People's History" performed by students, faculty, and community members. These will be accompanied by a video montage of Zinn's works as well as a "Social Justice Board" on which participants can share their ideas regarding social justice.

Dinner and a Movie

Take the chance to watch Howard Zinn's documentary "You Can't be Neutral on a Moving Train" and participate in a discussion about the film and social justice, facilitated by Natalie Dollar and Daniel Stroud.

On April 17, 2010, Associated Students of Cascades Campus (ASCC) and Associated Students of Central Oregon Community College (ASCOCC) will host the first annual rail jam.

ASCC and ASCOCC are a united partnership, working together to bring the first rail jam to our Central Oregon campus.

Our main intention is to give back to our local community who have shown support to our campus and students.

Jam on the Hill is FREE to attend and is open to all ages.

We hope to see you up in the hill

When: April, 17th 2010 from 12-3pm

Where: Parking Lot Behind Boyle Bld.

Want to register to participate? There is a $25 registration fee which goes into the winner’s purse. Winners will qualify to compete at the Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour’s final
