About the OSU Cascades Campus Foundation

Relationship to the OSU Foundation

The OSU Foundation established the OSU Cascades Campus Foundation (OSU CCF) as an Oregon non-profit public benefit corporation on July 1, 2004. The OSU CCF is operated exclusively for the charitable, scientific and educational purposes of the OSU-Cascades Campus by soliciting, accepting and administering private gifts for the benefit of OSU-Cascades Campus. Financial and other activities of the CCF will be administered and reported in accordance with law and generally accepted accounting principles. The finances and operations of CCF will be included in the annual audit of the OSU Foundation by virtue of its being an affiliate of the OSU Foundation.

Relationship to OSU-Cascades Campus

The OSU Cascades Campus Foundation's sole purpose is attracting, processing, investing and disbursing charitable gifts made for the benefit of OSU-Cascades Campus. It is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees made up of OSU alumni and friends of OSU-Cascades Campus.

Giving Opportunities

OSU-Cascades Campus has established fundraising priorities to support a bold strategic plan and lofty higher education goals for the region. Gifts may be made to the OSU Cascades Campus Foundation in support of these priorities in the following areas:

Scholarships - Improved student access is accomplished in part by the generous contributions of private donors who create endowments or contribute to annually disbersable scholarships.

Professorships - The growth and development of programs at OSU-Cascades Campus relies on the ability to recruit and retain outstanding faculty. Endowments that support professors are critical to success. Professorships ensure a steady revenue source to support outstanding faculty.

Program Support - The development of high quality niche programs that meet the needs and opportunities inherent in Central Oregon was a foundational strategy for OSU-Cascades Campus. The campus offers ever expanding academic programs and provides support services to a growing student population. The Foundation is happy to accept gifts for curriculum development or support of a specific program and welcomes contribtutions earmarked to improve our student support services.

Corporate Partners Program - OSU-Cascades Campus partners with local businesses to generate funds for discretionary use by the campus leadership. Businesses benefit by access to faculty, best practice learning, student interns and work ready graduates. OSU-Cascades is proud to partner with Central Oregon businesses to benefit the Campus, benefit its students and positively impact the economic development of Central Oregon.
