Free Counseling Program
Volunteers Needed for Bend and La Pine Locations
OSU-Cascades is looking for volunteers who are interested in receiving free counseling services through the graduate counseling program. We are recruiting volunteers for both the OSU-Cascades Graduate & Research Center location at 650 SW Columbia in Bend and in La Pine, Oregon at the South Deschutes County Services Building located at 51340 Highway 97 South, La Pine.
Bend
OSU-Cascades in Bend is currently seeking volunteers who are interested in receiving free counseling services through the graduate counseling program. The counseling session will be facilitated by graduate students who will be trained in cognitive–behavioral therapies that are shown to be effective in helping individuals manage stress, anxiety, depression and trauma.
You will meet with a student counselor once a week for a 50 minute appointment.*
You will have a weekly appointment with your student counselor throughout the school terms. We are in the process of recruiting individuals for our summer term which begins June 24.

OSU-Cascades will continue the free counseling program into future school terms, so on-going counselling will be available.
La Pine
If you are interested in participating in La Pine, please call 541-322-2021 and leave your name, number and when a good time to reach you is. You may also fill out the online registration form; just make sure to tell us a good time to reach you by phone.
(The La Pine location’s counseling sessions are scheduled on Mondays and are 50 minute long sessions.)
Accreditation
OSU-Cascades’ counseling program is accredited by the Council for Accrediting Counseling and Related Educational Programs. The program is recognized by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and the National Board of Certified Counselors as meeting requirements for state licensing and national certification.
