OSU-Cascades' 2008 Strategic Plan details the campus' renewed focus in four areas: academic programs, enrollment growth, fiscal stability, and community engagement. The academic programs proposed include undergraduate degrees in hospitality management, engineering and sustainability, as well as a graduate degree in secondary teaching. Community members are invited to review the plan and submit comments via the online public comment form through Wednesday, Dec. 10. The plan is an outgrowth of the 2004 and 2006 plans, both of which were created with input from many community members, faculty, staff and students. The 2008 plan again incorporates feedback from campus advisory board members, members of the local community, staff and faculty, as well as key leaders from OSU in Corvallis.
