OSU-Cascades Announces 2009 Distinguished Students
The Distinguished Student award is one of the top honors given at OSU-Cascades. Recipients are selected by members of the faculty. The award recognizes a student from within each degree area in the current graduating class for outstanding achievement in academics and contribution to their field.
Distinguished Students consistently show a passion for learning and a dedication to their field of study and to the OSU-Cascades community. The Distinguished Student award was initiated in 2004.
A reception, attended by OSU-Cascades faculty members, and family and friends, will be held in the award recipients’ honor on Friday, June 12, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Gary Fish, president of Deschutes Brewery, Inc., will offer remarks.
