OSU-Cascades to Host Student Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition
OSU-Cascades' annual celebration of students graduating with a bachelor of fine arts begins with a public reception and a summer-long exhibit devoted to their work.
The three graduating students, Joscelyn Jones, Katrina Sentgeorge and Tamara Bricker Pierce, and their art, 30 pieces in all, will be recognized at a reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, at the Rotunda Gallery in the R.L. Barber Library on the Central Oregon Community College campus. The reception will be hosted by OSU-Cascades Art Club, and the students will be joined by Assistant Professor Sandy Brooke and Distinguished Professor of Art History Henry M. Sayre. Refreshments will be provided.
The students’ work, ranges from acrylics to oils and from realism to abstraction, and will continue on display in Cascades Hall through September.
