OSU-Cascades Hosts Info Sessions for Graduate Program in Counseling
OSU-Cascades invites individuals interested in pursuing a graduate degree in counseling while staying in Central Oregon to join Information Sessions with the faculty and staff of the campus’ master of science in counseling program.
OSU-Cascades’ graduate counseling program offers a part time 3 year or a full time 2 year program. Students elect to concentrate in either school or clinical mental health counseling and as part of the curriculum, devote 18 months to field experience in a public school or agency setting. Since the program’s inception in 2004, OSU-Cascades has awarded Masters in counseling degrees to 72 graduates in Central Oregon.
Information sessions are the best way to learn more about the counseling program. Sessions cover program requirements and admissions procedures, as well as the application process and deadlines. The sessions will be held in Cascades Hall on the OSU-Cascades campus on College Way in Bend:

The application deadline for the 2010-11 cohort is Monday, February 1, 2010. Counseling classes begin in June 2010.
