OSU President Ed Ray to host open discussion at OSU-Cascades with students
The dynamic growth and evolution of Oregon State University - Cascades is consistent with the exciting advances unfolding across Oregon State University. OSU is not only increasing in size, its quality is being recognized more and more frequently as we continue our quest toward becoming one of America’s top 10 land grant universities.
In a special session with OSU-Cascades and COCC students on Tuesday, May 17, beginning at 12noon in Cascades Hall, 246, President Ray will address what OSU’s ascent can mean for students. In an hour-plus discussion, he will touch on topics such as the value of a degree from OSU-Cascades, and opportunities that exist for OSU students in Central Oregon and the more than 24,000 students in Corvallis, as well as those at Central Oregon Community College who intend to complete their undergraduate degree at OSU. Students are encouraged to bring their questions and observations for an open conversation period.
Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
