OSU-Cascades Hosts Restart College Nights throughout Central Oregon
Admissions and financial aid specialists from Oregon State University - Cascades Campus will host Restart College Nights this spring, and visit seven locations throughout Central Oregon beginning April 26 in Sisters. Restart College Nights are for adults who are considering starting or returning to college this fall in order to complete a bachelor’s degree. About one quarter of OSU-Cascades’ students are adults who had earned college credits at one or more schools prior to enrolling at OSU-Cascades.

Restart College Night attendees will receive information about OSU-Cascades 11 accredited degree programs from both Oregon State University and the University of Oregon, and the options within each. In most cases, prospective students can apply credits earned at a community college or other university towards a degree program at OSU-Cascades. Information will also be available about academic advising, and OSU-Cascades’ partnership with Central Oregon Community College, where students complete lower division courses at COCC before transitioning to upper division classes at OSU-Cascades.
Participants will also learn about the steps towards applying for financial aid, including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and basic information about scholarships, grants and loans.
For information about Restart College Nights call 541-322-3100 or send an e-mail to cascadesadmit@osucascades.edu.
