OSU-Cascades strives to meet the guidelines of the Web Accessibility Initiative. Pages should meet Level Double-A guidelines for accessibility, and meet xHTML 1.1 standards.

Layout

The OSU-Cascades site has four main sections on each page: a row at the top with links to main OSU-Cascades pages; two columns in the middle with navigation links on the left and main page content on the right; and a row with copyright and disclaimer information at the bottom.

Navigation

Each page has a table of contents on the left sidebar containing links to the main sections of the OSU-Cascades site. Also, this page contains a sitemap that provides an overview of the entire site.

Access Keys

On every page in the OSU-Cascades site, the accesskey 'c' will scroll the browser window to the main content of the page. Most browsers use the key combination 'alt-c' to jump to accesskeys.

Similarly, using 'alt-s' will let you jump to the search function found on every page.
