Students in Service
OSU-Cascades Campus is proud to be a campus partner with the Campus Compact, AmeriCorps - Students in Service program.

The Students in Service (SIS) program is a part-time AmeriCorps program that encourages and supports college and university students to enroll as part-time AmeriCorps members who provide valuable service in their communities.
Current OSU-Cascades students who are in undergraduate or graduate programs are eligible to participate in the Students in Service Program.
Students who participate receive a tuition voucher.
For more details check out the SIS program website or the OSU-Cascades program flyer.
If you are interested in participating in the Students in Service program at OSU-Cascades, students should:
1) Complete the Online Pre-Service Overview and complete the reflection questionnaire at the end of the overview.
2) Once you have completed the reflection questionnaire, contact the Campus Coordinator, Dianna Raschio, dianna.raschio@osucascades.edu. You will then be placed either on an interest list or waitlist, or invited to enroll in the program (depending on open slots).
3) Choose your community service. Not sure what direct community service you would like to do? Check out Central Oregon's Volunteer Connect website.
*Not all student teaching qualifies as Direct Service. Check the Qualifying Service website.
4) Next, your Campus Coordinator will hold an SIS Orientation for new student members. Students will receive enrollment packets at this orientation.
5) Once a student completes the enrollment forms and returns them to the Campus Coordinator, enrollment in the SIS program begins.
