  • Carolyn Rodgers

    Originally from Texas, Rodgers came to Bend with the desire to be a kindergarten teacher. Interested in working at a public school and in bilingual education, Rodgers is completing her degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with an option in Early Childhood Development and Education. Following that, she's applied to the master's program in Education.

  • Chris Wolsko

    Wolsko came to OSU-Cascades to start the Bend Behavioral Research Center, where he continues to serve as Director in addition to teaching. His research focus is on social psychology, including topics such as stereotyping and prejudice, along with cross-cultural conceptions of well-being.

  • Julie Elston

    An assistant professor of International Business, Julie Elston has lived in France and Germany and worked as a consultant to a number of international governmental agencies and firms. In addition to international business, she teaches finance, corporate finance and global marketing. She appreciates how friendly and enthusiastic her students are.

  • Seth McCarthy

    Although he's a Mathematics major, Seth McCarthy wasn't really all that interested in math until taking more advanced college classes like abstract algebra. He likes the small classes at OSU-Cascades, and he's thinking he might want to teach after graduation. Currently, he's working on a complex math problem that's up to nine pages...so far.

  • Robert Prentice

     

    After leaving Minneapolis and a job managing a restaurant where a customer complained that her hamburger tasted “too meaty,” Robert Prentice discovered the Tourism and Outdoor Leadership program at the OSU-Cascades Campus and his future crystallized. He discovered he could combine his love for the outdoors with a profession and pursue a career he actually enjoyed.

     

  • Shauna Quistorff

    A member of the first graduating class at OSU-Cascades, Quistorff is the executive director of the Central Oregon Environmental Center in Bend. Quistorff joined the nonprofit organization in 1999 and was named director in 2001 She oversees and participates in all planning, development and administration for the center, a nonprofit organization working to build a culture of environmental stewardship in Central Oregon.
